Taco Bell Removes Menu
In an effort to streamline the ordering process and reduce unnecessary packaging waste, Taco Bell has announced the removal of its menu. The fast food chain stated earlier this week that menu items account for over 30 million pounds of paperboard annually in the U.S., so removal of all the menu will help Taco Bell achieve its sustainability objectives.
“You know, we already got rid of so many things, so we just thought, ‘fuck it’, why not go all the way?” said Taco Bell CEO Mark King in a press release. Earlier this month, Taco Bell removed several items from their menu, including the Nachos Supreme, Spicy Loaded Potato Soft Taco Griller, Cheesy Mountain Dew Baja Blast Burrito, and the 7-Layer Diablo Crunch Wrap Nachos.
